June 6, 1997 - Friday

Today went pretty good.  We had a picnic at Коломенская парк [Kolomenskaya park].  It was pretty.  It was pretty much a missionary party.  But oh well, we had 3 members and hopefully it strengthened them. 

Then as we walked back to the metro these two attractive women stopped Дима [Dima] (a member) and I because we were speaking English.  They want to come to our English class.  I was wrighting [yes - that is how I spelled it.  Of course I meant "writing," but as skill in one language increases, a lessening occurs in another...so writing] down where and stuff and one girl was standing really close to me on a curb and pressing her tits against my shoulder.  It was pretty unerving [yeah mispelled that as well].  As we walked past they said "mmhm" twice and then said "excuse me" when we were really past them, but I stopped and they talked with us for awhile.  They were dangerously attractive.  Well I'll see. 

Then we also met this stud named Дима [same name, different guy] who speaks English and might be our investigator.  He lives on Орехово and is a stud.

May 31, 1997 - Saturday

Well another day here and gone.  Today we had a picnic at Царицино [Tsaritsinо - 400 year old area where Katherine the Great started building a palace - now a park with some cool ruins.]  Ира ["блестящая," Гроза  - Ira "blestyashaya" Grozah, or Ira "Shiny" Storm] Надия [Ягадкина - Nadia Yagadkina - Nadia is short for Nadyezhda, Hope and her last name is Berry], Саша [Sasha - one of the nicknames for Aleksander], - (повые члены Церкви) [a new member of the Church - but I totally screwed it up, because I was only talking about Sasha, but I used the plural, and I also used an English n, which is a p in Russian, so what I actually said was "new members" or Povie members], Зинейдя [Zenaida is what it should sound like, but again I misspelled and wrote Zenadya - which is almost right ;)], plus Сты. Kearl and Keller. 

Then an investigator of Wright's - Генады [Genadi], also two brothers Миша [Misha - nickname for Michael] & Серёз [Seryoz - nickname for Sergei] and then this kid named Саша [Sasha] was there.  Maybe we can get him to take the Ds.  That be really good to get a new family.  Man my feet stink.  I'm a freak.  I beat Ст. Shwartz in chess.  It made me feel better.  But I'll probably lose tomorrow.

Well night, it's 11:00 [pm].

February 4, 1997 - Tuesday

Today we gave two Ds.  The 3rd for new members and the 4th D for investigators.  It went pretty good.  In the D with Virginia [the new member] she seems so much happier.  She understood everything about what were talking [seriously - I wonder how bad my grammar is going to get.  I assume I meant "we were talking about"].  Also Argily's brother Christyon was there.  Ст. Woolverton invited him to hear the discussions.  He seems interested.

Then in our D with Алисия & Жаром [Aliciya - prounounce Aleeseeya, Jarom] we used a plastic model of the Plan of Salvation.  It went well.  I got up early and studied really good today.  You know, like I should everyday.  well night

October 14, 1996 - Monday

Today ended so awesome.  It was a really long dang partly because we had three lessons in grammar our midday class.  But our evening evening class we went through a discussion in Russian first and then the last 5 minutes was in English.  Well we ran over the time limit and we went to TRC:  the Training Resource Center.  We had a little orientation and then we went to a door and knocked.  We just talked to an older guy and we got him to commit to helping an inactive family down the street.  It was [a] pretty weak commitment. 

I improved in the second one by leaning forward when talking with this guy, who was next. 

Sister Jensen was my companion & he [the investigator] kind of teased us about this.  It went a whole lot better though.  We were on time & we got him to commit to talking with his wife about inviting a[n] inactive family down the street to dinner one night where we give them a little lesson and invite them to church.  We improved a lot with the second one and I feel awesome.  It makes me want to get out in the mission field and start teaching.  You are probably wondering what this is on the page [picture on the left].  Well the guy that was giving feedback thought that I should have [a dress] since I was with a sister.  [I remember that he held up the dress to the screen and kept moving it around so that my face was visible under the hat.]

I have to go now, but I want whoever is reading this to know, that I have a deep love for my Heavenly Father.  I felt so comfortable in the room and I know it was because of our prayers before entering.  Thank you!
